No, Satinique™ Smooth Moisture Shampoo was not tested on animals. The 18-MEA ingredient from Enerjuve™ Complex is derived from wool, but sheep were not harmed for this ingredient.

4. Does Satinique™ Smooth Moisture Shampoo contain silicones? Will they build up in my hair?

Satinique™ Smooth Moisture Shampoo does contain some silicones for conditioning purposes. However, with normal use, they will not build up in hair as shown in our extensive salon and consumer testing.
